Patron Book Reviews by Vicki

Vicki's Reviews:

It’s the 5th book in The Walk series and is an excellent read. This author pulls you into his stories and keeps your attention throughout the book.

Father Gilbert Mysteries by Paul McCusker
Very interesting and thought provoking stories.

Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie
Excellent Hercule Poirot mystery from Agatha Christie with David Suchet reading (audiobook). A surprise ending makes it quite interesting.

Kim's Reviews:

The Crimson Crown (Seven Realms Bk #4) by Cinda Williams Chima
It was a riveting story. Being the fourth of the Seven Realms series, it ended it beautifully. Very worth the read.

Grim edited by Christine Johnson (Contains stories by many popular YA authors)
Excellent collection of short stories. Good variety of humor and literary works.

Catching Fire (Hunger Games Bk #2) by Suzanne Collins
Well written. Very gripping story. Wish I had read before I saw the movie.

The Mockingjay (Hunger Games Bk #3) by Suzanne Collins
It seemed as though the writer had lost the desire or was pushed to finish the story. It was very disjointed and difficult to read.

Diane's Reviews:

Catch Me by Lisa Gardner
I enjoyed this book very much. A twist at the end I didn’t see coming.

King & Maxwell by David Baldacci

I like all of his books and this was very good. I couldn’t put it down.

Shadow Music by Julie Garwood
An exciting historical romance. A little hard to keep all the “clans” and characters straight but a very good book.

Simple Genius by David Baldacci
The plot was way beyond my understanding, but credit the author for keeping me reading to the end. I enjoyed it.

Dakota Born by Debbie Macomber
This book is part of a 3 book series. I can’t wait to read the second and third books. Dakota

Home by Debbie Macomber
This is the 2nd book in the series. I was anxious to find out what happened to [my] favorite characters.

Lorrie's Reviews:

Illusions (Wings bk #3) by Aprilynne Pike
Super great – book 3 in a series and left me hanging…but an exciting fantasy series.

Destined (Wings bk #4) by Aprilynne Pike
Exciting conclusion to the “Wings” series. Good books – lots of action and suspense.

Think Like a Freak by Steven D. Levitt
How to think outside the box to creatively solve problems and have enlightening inspirations.

Under the Never Sky (bk #1) by Veronica Rossi  #1 of a series. Very action packed. Looking forward to the next 2 books.

Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky #2) by Veronica Rossi
#2 of the series – The plot thickens and lots of excitement and surprises. I can’t wait to read book 3.

The Mermaid’s Mirror by L.K. Madigan
A teenage girl finds out she is half human and half mermaid. The book tells how she finds out where she belongs. A great read!
