Computer Classes @ LME Library March-April 2012

Due to community interest, we will be offering our series of free computer classes at the Lillie M. Evans Library in March & April.  Each class is one hour and all classes will be held in the library meeting room.  We're offering each class twice--once during the day and once in the evening to accommodate scheduling.  Registration is required to reserve your spot!  Sign up for a class today by calling the library at 385-4540 or registering online


      Computer Basics Mon, March 12 11-noon or Wed, March 14 5:30-6:30pm (For the very beginner—develop some mouse skills and learn some basic vocabulary for computers)
Web Searching, Mon, March 19 11-noon or Wed, March 21 5:30-6:30pm (Become familiar with Internet browsers, search engines, and some of the best web sites as well as searching tips)
E-reader basics/e-book sites Mon, March 26 11-noon or Wed, March 28 5:30-6:30pm (Try some of the e-readers and learn about sources for e-books—several which are free!)
Word Basics Mon, April 2 11-noon or Wed, April 4 5:30-6:30pm (Covers cut, paste, margins, paper orientation, bullets  and other basic of MS Word)
E-Mail Basics Mon, April 9 11-noon or Wed, April 11 5:30-6:30pm (Set up an email account and learn about e-mail etiquette)
Using Facebook Mon, April 16 11-noon or Wed, April 18 5:30-6:30pm (Registering, privacy, friends, and pictures will be discussed)
