Patron Book Reviews by Sharie

Sharie's Reviews:

I read this book in two days. It was hard to put down. The fractured Quinn family realizes too late that selfishness hurts families. They find a way to regain their sense of belonging to each other.

Very entertaining but with parallels to Christ’s love for us. When Kate’s fiancĂ© leaves her at the altar, a good friend steps into the groom’s role, hoping she’ll love him eventually.

This is the 3rd in the Cape Light series. The characters are lovable and amusing. Lillian is the matriarch of the family and has no filter or patience. I laughed out loud every time she spoke.

The “other woman” is not who you would think. The main character, Ellie, is in constant battle with her mother-in-law until she learns to look at things another way.

This book introduces 4 disfunctional characters who go through tough times. It was a sad, depressing story.

Second Chance by Jane Green

This book takes too long to set up the background of the story. Too many characters. Also so depressing
