Angie's Reviews

Best Friends Forever by Jennifer Weiner
This was a good book. A little Thema & Louise mixed with a girl getting revenge on a boy and best friend adventures.

Sisterland by Curtis Sittenfeld
Kate & Vi are twins that share psychic powers. Kate suppresses hers and Vi openly shares her predictions. Vi predicts an earthquake, yet Kate’s world is the one upended. I liked this book.

The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith
Mma inherits enough money to open up a detective agency. This is the first book of a series of all her detective work. I was not inspired to read the rest of the series.

Four by Veronica Roth
I loved the Divergent series and wanted to read Four’s perspective of Dauntless and of Tris. It was a very easy read and made me want to watch the movie again.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I loved this book. Two twins go off the college to become their own person, but soon realize they need each other. First love, heartbreak, friendship, and college life.

Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys
This is a historical fiction of the Soviet invasion of Lithuania and what the deportees went through in order to survive the labor camps. The deportees went through so much horror to survive
